Spineless Wonders - Butterfly Houses

Spineless Wonders' "Turn-key" Butterfly Houses are perfect for institutions that want to experiment with arthropods but do not

want to commit the space and money it takes to maintain a permanent exhibit. We specialize in traveling exhibits that attract

new, and bring back previous, visitors. The illustration below shows a typical traveling exhibit. Indoors, outdoors, during any

season of the year, Spineless Wonders will bring excitement, wonder and understanding to your visitors. We can design, set-

up and stock an exhibit that will delight everyone who experiences it. And we'll remove the entire exhibit at the end of its run.

We'll be happy to talk to you about your requirements. If you want to exhibit arthropods, we'll work with you, no project is too big

or too small. The only limit is your imagination.

Our butterfly houses come in a wide range of sizes and configurations, and each

implementation is designed specifically for the individual client. As small as a 6 foot

'gazebo' for a trade show or other function up to a 36 foot wide by any length gothic

hoop structure containing a weather resistant area for classroom/interactives or a

merchandising area and a dedicated pupal emergence room for 'hatching' your own

butterflies are all possible. Our structures are considered 'seasonal', in that they are

not permanent glass and steel conservatories. We have worked on permanent

structures as well, and we often partner with other consulting groups on those

projects.

We will provide as little or as much input as you need for your project, whether it be just consulting or a turnkey solution where

we design, manufacture, install and remove the exhibit at the end of its run. Each implementation is customized specifically for

response when they enter a gothic greenhouse structure and are surrounded by free flying butterflies and beautiful landscaping.

Both young and old will be entranced by the sounds and scents of moving water and blooming plants, as well as the opportunity

to interact with nature up close. A Spineless Wonders butterfly house is a USDA Containment Facility, which has to meet strict

government criteria for construction and operation. We have had a good working relationship with the USDA since 1989.
